PROMPT WEEK- Day 2

Im very excited for the next theme, to be honest. Cause it includes writing about one of the deepest characters in PH. ~

Day 2 - Favorite Villain
~ For today make something based off your favorite villain.

DAY 2
JACK VESSALIUS

Since I've been writing an introduction that was way too long in the last prompt, I'm going to cut the introduction here. I'm just going to write about what I love about the following character or what makes him a great villain. If you're interested, you should read the manga. Well, you should probably still read the manga, even if you're not interested!
Anyways, today I'm going to talk about Jack Vessalius.
In the 'legend' Jack Vessalius is a great hero that killed Glen Baskerville after he caused the Tragedy of
Sablier 100 years ago. The truth is, that Jack was the one who wanted to let Sablier sink into the Abyss and he was also the one that killed Glen Baskerville, who wanted to stop him.
He did this with the help of a chain called 'B-Rabbit' (goddamn bigass spoiler). Right now, the chain 'B-rabbit' is consuming Jack's body, since his own body/container had been destroyed. With this connection, Jack can sometimes use Oz' B-Rabbit Power. (Oz=B-Rabbit)
The reason why Jack Vessalius wanted to drop Sablier into the Abbys in a girl called Lacie, who was born as a Child of Misfortune. Jack met Lacie when he was at the brink of death and Lacie smiled at him and asked him for his name. Jack fell in love with Lacie and worked hard to get acknowledged as one of the Vessalius dukedom's members. When Jack met Lacie again, it was already for sure that she'd be casted into the Abbys, but she didn't tell Jack and one day just vanished.. Her brother, Oswald- the current Glen-, was the one who casted her into the Abbys.
And because Lacie loved 'this cruel, beautiful world' so much, Jack decided that, if he can't bring Lacie into the world, he'd just bring the world to Lacie, aka. he decided to
drop Sablier into the Abbys.
That's it for an introduction.
There are many reasons why I love Jack. First, his undying love and loyalty for Lacie, which might sound creepy as hell and crazy for most of the people, and it certainly is, but I adore that about him.
jack has always been described as "water", because when you looked into Jack's eyes it'd be like looking into water: You only saw your own reflection, you never saw JACK.
I adore Jack, because he was willing to work hard and RAISE HELL for Lacie's sake, even if his motives were really fucking creepy. I like his personality. He's obnoxious, but I like him that way.
Jack is someone who neevr let anyone see inside him, not even Lacie. He was a great actor and could trick you into thinking that he was on your side. He'd

smile at you without really smiling.
And there was only one goddamn thing that mattered to him: Lacie.
In a way I also think that he resembles Leo: After he had lost everything, there was that one person that saved him and he became willing to do anything for that person. However, after that person's "death" he loses all purpose.
Resembles Leo quite a bit, huh?
If I had to decide between the two, I'd still prefer Leo though, because even though Jack could trick everyone into thinking he was a friend and, in fact, HUMAN, I can't look at him as one, since he owned no personality of his own, nothing that was his, nothing that made him so undeniably Jack.
And Leo had.
That's why Jack is still my favorite villain though, because he sometimes seems to me just like an innocent
little kid, not getting what he wants and not understanding why nothing is going his way. Raging, because he only wants this ONE thing, but it never works out for him.
